Winter threatens with another emergency

A year after the biggest earthquake ever to hit Pakistan left 3.5 million people homeless, tens of thousands of families are still living in temporary shelters.

More than 73,000 people were killed on 8 October 2005, when an earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale decimated huge swathes of northern Pakistan and parts of India.

You can help

Great challenges lie ahead for the earthquake survivors in Pakistan – please donate now and help DanChurchAid provide all the help it can.
