European Development Fund

The European Development Fund (EDF) is the main funding instrument of the European Union in support of development in Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific. The funds of EDF is secured by the member states of the EU on a voluntary basis, but is administered by the Commissions services (EuropeAid) similar to the other funding instruments for development that are financed by the EU general budget.

DanChurchAid has applied for – and implemented - several projects through the EDF.
