The joint ethio-dansih NGO programme in North Wollo started in 1997 and is a collaboration between the three Danish NGO's Save the Children, Danish Red Cross and DanChurchAid and their Ethiopian partners. The purpose was to relieve the food crisis and support agricultural development in North Wollo, a very poor area in Ethiopia.

Access to health care

DanChurchAid works with access to health care in Israel/Palestine. The right to access humanitarian aid and services is a human right that includes access to adequate and affordable primary health care. In the context of marginalisation of international humanitarian law in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Palestinian population is effectively deprived of this right.
