The Lutheran World Federation
The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is a global communion of Christian churches in the Lutheran tradition. Founded in 1947 in Lund, Sweden, the LWF now has 140 member churches in 78 countries all over the world representing nearly 66 million Christians.
DanChurchAid supports LWF programmes in the following countries:
- Africa: Angola, Etiopia, Liberia, Mauretania, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Malawi
- Asia: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India and Nepal
- The Middle East: East Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank.
