Association of Women - MOLDIR (KZ)

MOLDIR works with vulnerable, marginalised women with and without children in their efforts to rehabilitate their livelihood. The purpose is to strengthen the women by raising awareness about their social and financial rights combined with learning in nutritional and health issues. Also their job capabilities are addressed since those are essential for the women to improve the family situation. Empowering women by organising, giving psychosocial and legal advice when needed is a core activity and the consultations are often combined with establishment of self-help groups, which form small business groups and small enterprises. Specific target groups are women residing in dormitories.
Moldir is a settler organisation, who can strengthen the gender approach in the programme and who is strong in rights protection at grass root level.

Center for Protection of Children - CPC

Street and working children are becoming more and more numerous in Kyrgyzstan because of the difficult economic situation and related family problems of abuse, alcoholism and violence. CPC aims to address several of the issues and problems facing the children – among others mediation, advocacy, education, temporary shelter, food, organisation network. CPC works with working children, i.e. children age 6-16 working in the bazaars and streets. TG is from broken families and/or children of settlers who lack education.
CPC, is a strong partner in addressing protection of children's rights. They are experienced in political dialogue and a strong facilitator and initiator of networks. Has demonstrated creative solutions to overcome propiska problems and enabled access to education and health for large part of their TG. 

ADRA-Kyrgyzstan – Social Care and Lobby for Pensioners

ADRA responds to lack of respect of the pensioners’ right to food and health care. It aims to provide nutritious meals as well as medical and psychological support to the elderly; to organise social assistance by using salaried social workers and volunteers who assist the elderly in everyday activities., and to raising public awareness among the general population and government authorities to better care for this population group, among which are several hundred thousands more or less isolated Russian pensioners whose family left for Russia.
ADRA, works with elderly/pensioners and pre-pensioners in Bishkek and has managed to involve and mobilise the absolute most marginalised of the TG.  ADRA is also member of AgeNet, but needs to strengthen its advocacy component.. 

Public Association of Social Protection of People – PASPP

PASPP is the Kyrgyz pensioners’ lobby organisation. The movement lobbies the government with respect to compliance with/improving existing legislation on pensioners. Individual social and legal counseling form part of the activities and is offered to pensioners who are missing their pension or have problems with the allowances for gas, heating and electricity. For the very poorest temporary medical and financial support is offered. PASPP (Russ. OOSZN), contributes to the programme with broad experiences in monitoring legal framework and implementation of laws concerning pensioners and lobby the interests of pensioners. They have local branches in all oblasts and are in a process of creating SHG.
 

Arysh, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

works with settlers/migrants in settlements around Bishkek. Establish and train SHG in income generating activities, business planning and lobbying & advocacy. Arysh assists TG in claiming their rights and with dialogue with local authorities about infrastructure in settlements.
Arysh, is a major, if not the only, organiser of the thousands of internal migrants around Bishkek. They are experienced in addressing access to infrastructure at local level and can contribute significantly to the programme through documentation of settlers lack of access and abuses of their rights.

Resource Centre for Elderly, Bishkek and Balykchy, Kyrgyzstan

works with SHG of elderly/pensioners in Issyk Kul and Chui oblast. SHG carry out income generating activities and lobby their rights. The Resource Center for the Elderly (RCE) has established 127 SHGs with the elderly in addition to a senior daycare center. RCE was one of the organizers of the conference on developing a culture of philanthropy in Kyrgyzstan. RCE is a strong advocate for pensioners’ rights in Kyrgyzstan and founder of regional NGO platform AgeNet. 

Legal clinic "Adilet"

is a recognised NGO established in 2002 working with the legal aspects of children’s rights. Adilet provides legal expertise and provide free legal consultations for the final beneficiaries, contributes to development of information materials, document problems of access to basic services and analyze relevant legal frameworks. Adilet has provided legal services for hundreds of minors and works to help them restore their documentation and learn about their rights.  

Children Advocacy Network

is a coordination body for other civil society organisations working in the field of juvenile justice in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Network is effective in advocating of children’s rights and counterparts to both the authorities and to international organisations. The Advocacy Network for Children monitors amendments regulating the protection of the rights of juveniles. In 2010 it participated in a working group at the Ministry of Justice and prepared a chapter on children’s rights for presentation at the UN Committee on Human Rights in Geneva where 18 of its recommendations were adopted. 
 

Eagl Public Foundation

The main objective of organization is to facilitate to maintenance of human rights and children rights in detentions. In cooperation with authorities, international organizations and partner NGOs, “Еagl” implements the projects on prevention of violation of children's rights who have conflicts with the law, monitoring of electoral rights in the penitentiary system, preventing tortures. During the last three years “Еagl” provides legal and psychological assistance to the children and youth. 

Insan-Leilek Public Foundation

is a non-governmental organization s established in August 2000 with the mission to activate and involve local communities, youth and women in democratic processes. The NGO promotes local community initiatives to be included in decision-making process related to human rights issues. Since 2009 Insan-Leilek has been involved in the promoting interests of elder people in Batken oblast as one of the remote area of KR. The partner is very strong in facilitating dialogue between local communities, elderly people and local governments/administrations. It actively has been involved in the lobbying the adoption of the law related to the elder people and conducting advocacy campaigns on changes in the local social and economic development plans (SEDP). 

Aikol Public Association

has been working in the filed of civil society and democracy development since 2002. Its mission is to promote favorable conditions for non-profit organizations of Talas oblast  in democracy and civil society development through strengthening their organizational capacity and sustainability. The partner has a strong capacity in promoting rights and involving vulnerable groups of Talas oblast in decision-making process at the local level.   

Diabetic Association of the Kyrgyz Republic (DAK)

is the only body promoting the rights and interests of diabetics in the Kyrgyz Republic. It was founded in the late 1990’s by stakeholders in diabetes care. DAK’s mission is to provide medical and social support for people with diabetes in the Kyrgyz Republic, and to enhance quality of life by advocating for people’s rights and interests.
