EuropeAid has donated DanChurchAid € 1,350,000 to reduce the risk of climate related disasters of the rural poor communities and local authorities in order to reduce poverty in the North West of Bangladesh.

DanChurchAid cooperates closely with Rangpur Dinajpur Rural Service (RDRS).

The areas of work are Kurigram & Lalmonirhat districts – Nageswari, Fulbari, Chilmari & Hatabandah Upazilas.

The project focuses on the Community Based Organisations, Victims of Catastrophes and Rural Poor. 71300 households benefit directly of the project and indirectly 0.5 million people.
