EuropeAid has donated DanChurchAid EUR 950,000 to empower vulnerable and marginalized rural communities, both economically and socially, in Zambias Southern Province.

DanChurchAid cooperates closely with Monze Diocese Development Department. The project benefits 11,760 people and involves 7 parish pastoral teams, 7 parish development committees (PDCs), 49 community agriculture workers (CAWs), 7 centre development committees (CDCs), local government authorities, 7 justice and peace teams, government departments and at least 5 other NGOs.

Moreover, 5,500 rural women and men are targeted for social and economic empowerment.
