Strengthened women leaders with confidence and capacity to participate in decision making processes
Increased participation of women leaders in advocacy actions promoting women’s rights issues
Created and strengthened networks between women leaders
Increased community acceptance and recognition of women in leadership roles
More open public discussion and debate on women’s rights issues
Inclusion of women’s and children’s issues into policies and laws, improved implementation of these and improved resources and budget allocations to achieve these results

EuropeAid has donated DanChurchAid EUR 300,000 to empower the Cambodian female leaders to bring social services to Cambodia’s most vulnerable groups and to advocate for the protection of their rights.

DanChurchAid cooperates with SILAKA_Committee to Promote Women in Politics (CPWP).

The area of work is Kompong Thom, Kompong Cham and Prey Veng provinces.

29 provincial and district female leaders and 10 male leaders are involved in the project, and it benefits 366,800 people.
