OUR WORK IN EL SALVADOR

El Salvador’s history is characterised by brutal assaults on the population and changing military and undemocratic regimes. The peace agreement of 1992 put a stop to a 12 year long bloody civil war.

However, the country’s uneven economic and social structures did not really change. Democracy and respect for human rights still face great challenges.
