Working through networks and local partners

DanChurchAid is part of more than 50 networks and alliances internationally. Working in partnership ensures that emergency and development programmes effectively target the poorest and that activities become locally sustainable. For local partners, view the country pages .

International networks and alliances

DanChurchAid implements its own humanitarian mine action programmes and in some cases emergency aid activities, but in most cases we work through local partners or the partners of ACT International .

Financed by private donations and funds

DanChurchAid is an independent non-profit organisation whose activities are financed by private donations and funds from the Danish government (Danida), the UN, EU and other bilateral donors.

The organisation has a long-term framework agreement with Danida , a framework partnership agreement with the Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) of the European Commission, and has implemented numerous contracts with the EuropeAid Co-operation Office and several UN agencies. Further details on DanChurchAid's donors and funds can be found under International donors .
