Humantohuman is a collaboration between Dan Church Aid and Roskilde Festival. Since 2002 we have collected refund at the festival and campaigned to help people in the poorest parts of the world. The festival guests are invited to help people in need, from one person to another – human to human

Humantohuman looks forward

Planning of next years humantohuman campaign at Roskilde Festival is being started.

Sun, party and commitment laid dawn the framework for a fantastic achievement at Roskilde Festival 2008. The entire team did an amazing job and raised awareness of unfair phones just as refund collectors collected money for humanitarian mine action in DR Congo.

At Roskilde Festival 2009 we will think outside the box.

Dan Churc Aid and Roskilde Festival have ambition plans of making the refund collection even bigger next year, with more collectors and even more collected bottles, cans ad cups. The political campaign will leave an imprint in every aspect of the festival.



DanChurchAid played host to a number of activities at this year’s Roskilde, related to both the volunteer refund work and the humantohuman campaign focus on the DR Congo: “Fair Phone – Fair Future.” These activities were symbolic of the often-unfair mining practices that are behind the production of the many mobile phones we buy and use every day. Mobile phone batteries from at least four leading mobile phone producers contain cobalt from DR Congo.
