Adressing extreme poverty
Action is needed against extreme poverty. Therefore, the world state leaders have decided upon 8 concrete goals that are to be reached by the year 2015. The goals are about poverty, hunger, inequality, diseases such as HIV/AIDS and other global challenges, which only can be overcome through a joined effort by all countries in the world.
DanChurchAid works with HIV/AIDS by empowering vulnerable groups to claim their right and reduce the conditions, which make them susceptible to HIV/AIDS. DanChurchAid works with accountability, advocacy, empowerment, and protection. Read more...
