DanChurchAid will undertake global, regional and national advocacy on:

  • Equitable access to HIV and AIDS related response including treatment
  • Increased and sustained donor commitment towards financing the HIV and AIDS response including support to the Global Fund to fight HIV, TB and malaria
  • Integration of human rights including sexual and reproductive rights and gender equality in HIV and AIDS response
  • Fighting stigma and discrimination.

Focusing on insufficient legal protection

DanChurchAid addresses issues of insufficient legal protection in relation to HIV and AIDS, and addresses gaps in legal protection where existing laws fails to protect the relevant rights, aggravate the problem, or discriminate against the vulnerable group.

Supporting law enforcement

DanChurchAid's work with HIV/AIDS includes strengthening the enforcement of existing laws by supporting community groups and individuals to claim protection.
