Partners and activities

DanChurchAid is working with Lutheran World Federation (Burundi) and Tanganyika Christian Refugee Service (TCRS). The focus is to ensure a viable repatriating and reestablishing process for internaly displaced persons (IDPs) in Burundi.

DanChurchAid also operates its own humanitarian mine action programmes in Burundi financed by ECHO. Main local partner in Burundi is Conseil National des Eglises du Burundi.

The mine risk education project for Burundian refugees in Western Tanzania, Kibondo and Kasulu refugee camps is financed by Danida and DanChurchAid's own funds (through ACT).
