DanChurchAid has worked in Ethiopia for many years, mainly through the Ehtiopian Evengelical Church Mekane Yesus and the Lutheran World Federation. DanChurchAid concentrates on four programme types: Building civil society , food security and HIV/AIDS .

Increasing food security
Increasing food security in the rural areas is an absolute priority in a country with an estimated five million chronically food insecure people. DanChurchAid emphasises the right to adequate food for marginalised groups, especially women.
DanChurchAid supports HIV/AIDS prevention and control projects. A HIV/AIDS programme has been initiated to prevent the further spread of the disease and to protect the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS. Read more...
