DanChurchAid is working on a re-vamped partnership with National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) around human rights issues particularly those related to governance, economic justice and HIV/AIDS.

Since the formation of Catholic Justice and Peace Commission (CJPC), civic education has been an integral part of its programmes. The objectives are to develop programmes of education for justice as well as working for the eradication of injustice in specific situations and giving support to various programmes including the understanding of the new constitution to come in Kenya. DanChurchAid will concentrate the support to civic education programmes through CJPC.
The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) operational service programmes are instruments of the Lutheran Churches for disaster responses, refugee service, rehabilitation and development work. DanChurchAid is supporting the LWF refugee programme in Kakuma Refugee Camp, which was established in 1992. Since then the LWF has acted as the lead agency in managing the camp on behalf of the United Nations High Commissariat for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Government of Kenya.

In an effort to better coordinate the response to emergencies by ACT Members, the Nairobi Forum was started in 1997–98. The Forum has been meeting regularly and its terms of references were developed entailing e.g.: Sharing information between ACT Members in order to achieve a coordinated and timely response to emergencies in the region. Conducting joint assessment missions and interventions for the benefit of those we seek to help. To ensure effective networking with non-ACT members to avoid duplication.
Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in the GraetLakes and the Horn of Africa (FECCLAHA) was formed following a series of consultations and meetings between the General Secretaries of Councils and Churches on the conflict situation in the Region. Through the process, the church leader were able to develop a shared understanding of the issues which further lead to them adopt a common approach through FECCLAHA to the issues of peace, justice and reconciliation in the region.
All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) was established in 1963. AACC are currently developing a new Vision and Mission for its work in contemporary Africa. DanChurchAid will support AACC in developing the new strategy and focus on the cooperation between the ecumenical networks in Africa.

Kenya Voluntary Women Rehabilitation Centre (K-VOWR) is focusing on empowerment of marginalized girls and young women in risky jobs or directly affected by HIV/AIDS. This is a small programme on human rights issues in relation to HIV/AIDS supported with own funds from DanChurchAid.
