Association of Women (MOLDIR): MOLDIR works primarily with women in settlements and dorms in and around Almaty. The objective is to strengthen women by raising awareness about their social and financial rights combined with learning in nutritional and health issues. The women's job capabilities are likewise addressed since they are essential for the women to improve the family situation.
Association of Societies (Baspana): Baspana is a non-governmental, non-commercial, non-political public organisation engaged in problems of socially vulnerable layers of population. The activities are directed on decision of socially important questions directed on reduction of poverty and increasing living standards. Baspana works with settlers in illegal/semi-legal settlements around Almaty. Baspana establishes and train self-help-groups (SHG) in income generating activities, lobbying & advocacy, business planning, etc.
