Roskilde Festival 2009 is now over and we would like to thank all of the 1100 refund collectors who have done their very best to collect the large amount of refund in the heat at the festival. The result of the refund collection is not ready yet – but as soon as we have it, we will let you know!

In 2009, Human to human (the humanitarian focus of the Roskilde Festival) brought climate changes into focus. And DanChurchAid -and more than 1000 volunteer refund collectors - raised money for financing work in Northeast India and Bangladesh, where the catastrophic consequences of global climate changes will soon become concrete.

Humanto human is a collaboration between Dan Church Aid and Roskilde Festival. Since 2002 we have collected refund at the festival and campaigned to help people in the poorest parts of the world. The festival guests are invited to help people in need, from one person to another – human to human.



This summer Dan Church Aid and Roskilde Festival brings the consequences of climate change for the poorest in Bengal into focus with the campaign Green Footsteps and the refund collection.

DanChurchAid played host to a number of activities at this year’s Roskilde, related to both the volunteer refund work and the humantohuman campaign focus on the DR Congo: “Fair Phone – Fair Future.” These activities were symbolic of the often-unfair mining practices that are behind the production of the many mobile phones we buy and use every day.
