How we get funding
More than one third of DanChurchAid’s global turnover comes from international donors. The Global Partnerships and Donor Relations Unit (GPDR) manages and coordinates DCA’s strategy and engagement with international donors and supports HQ departments and country offices in their fundraising efforts.
We manage over 100 international contracts annually, ensure quality and adherence to donor requirements and regulations and support high quality grants management across the organization.
We invest in partnerships where we have mutual strategic objectives and contribute to policy developments and technical guidance in our areas of expertise.
We have multi-year strategic engagement with many of our international core donors and we are continuously exploring innovations in funding and partnerships to increase impacts against our global goals: save lives, build resilient communities and fighting extreme inequality.
In 2017, our international donors include the EU Commission, the US State Department, UN Agencies, Multi-donor Trust Funds, DFID, ACT Alliance partners and other NGOs.
