Project Description

In Jewi camp, the proposed Action will provide appropriate sanitation facilities, and both directly and indirectly ensure improved hygiene practices for the entire camp population, estimated at 56,897 refugees, including lifesaving emergency sanitation to 12,158 new arrivals. Hygiene promotion and solid waste management form an integral component of this Action in all the four zones. In Tierkidi and Nguenyyiel camps, the proposed Action will improve the food security and diet diversification at the household level through fresh food e-vouchers targeting PLWs for a total of 5150 HHs in Tierkidi and Nguenyyiel Camp and including cooking demonstrations and nutrition awareness sessions.
