Project Description
The innovative project was implemented in 14 earthquake affected districts in Nepal where the CSEB technology provided an environment friendly alternative to the conventional fire brick and cement blocks currently used in most construction.

More specifically the project contributed to: creating an enabling business environment for climate-friendly construction material; reducing the impact of climate change through mitigation and partly through mitigation; job creation and livelihood promotion in rural areas and support to the poor and vulnerable groups, and finally; climate change advocacy and policy influence to secure a low-emission pathway for the Nepalese public and private sector.
