In 2007, the Bygma Foundation was founded by Bygma's founder - Lars Børge Christiansen. The purpose of the foundation is to support humanitarian aid organizations and associations that work in Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland as well as aid organizations related to Denmark. Since 2007, the Bygma Foundation has donated several million kroner to crisis-stricken populations and countries - nationally as well as internationally.
