Main activities

Through 15 Palestinian and Israeli civil society, including faith-based partners, DCA/NCA supports Palestinian communities in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem to be economically and socially resilient and active participants in decision making processes affecting their lives. This includes advocating for respect for international humanitarian law, human rights and a just peace.

Fighting Extreme Inequality

We work to protect livelihoods and, basic human rights, and international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territories. Local communities, especially youth and women, are empowered to claim their rights and achieve social and gender equality.

We do advocacy work in Denmark, Norway, and the European Union to promote political will to respect human rights and international law.

Building Resilient Communities

Palestinian youth, women, and marginalised communities have improved employment and livelihood opportunities and focus on empowering the communities to be in the driver’s seat to achieve change.

We focus on addressing unemployment through vocational training centers and green employment, climate-friendly urban agriculture, and community-based tourism.

Saving Lives

Palestinian communities affected by house demolitions, land confiscations or invasions are protected, able to withstand or recover. Our focus is on Gaza strip as well as addressing the humanitarian needs in area C of the West Bank.
